http://www.rebarcamprdu.com/2010/08/08/week-1-carolina-re-blog-brawl/
I was asked to participate in the "Carolina Blog Brawl" as part of this year's RE Bar Camp being held in Raleigh in September. I had to enter my blog which had to be chosen as one of the top 16 out of all entires in order to participate and I got in!

It will last for 4 weeks. It is setup like NCAA bracket and will be cut down each week depending on who wins their bracket "i.e. gets more votes." I have a chance to win some really awesome prizes but have to get the votes each week to keep me in the competition. The link is below. Please vote for me in both categories....SECTION 4!

Yes, I mean more than mowing the grass and planting a few flowers...

Too often landscaping is the lastthing thought of on a renovation or remodel. This is the biggest mistake I see made over and over. To maximize your investment you should make sure your landscaping plan is a the top of the list, right up there with the kitchen remodel. Don't let is be a decision at the end when you have already spent too much money and more than you planned and then you have zero curb appeal on a home that has just been remodeled.

Real Estate Contract is legal, binding, can't just walk away!

You cannot just walk away from a legal bing real estate contract to buy a house. If you are a home buyer you should know that just "changing your mind" isn't an option. The seller of the house can sue you. There are legal ramifications that can happen to you. It is a serious thing you arent just buying a pair of shoes. Be prepared and educate yourself before the process so you know what you are doing and are comfortable doing so.

How hard is listing agent working for you Mr Seller?

How does your listing agent handle a multiple offer situation? Make sure you know that your agent is working hard and not taking the easy route. Their number one goal should be to maximize the amount of money you make and make sure that the terms of your contract are in your best interest.
