There is still time to get your $8000!

On this mornings Today Show some very frustrating and incorrect information was announced. In the real estate clip it was stated that is was too late to purchase a house and get the $8000 tax credit because ALL home loans now take 60-90 days to close, so you are too late. WRONG!!!! COMPLETELY WRONG!!!! All of my closings are 30 days and even less. This is so frustrating and really annoying. I dont know about other area, but in Wilmington, NC we can get a loan closed in 30 days just like always.

8000 Tax Credit as Down Payment...Maybe, Maybe Not

It seems the announcement from HUD of the possibility the government allowing using the current 8000 tax credit as a down payment on a home purchase was a bit premature. They have now removed it from the website and it looks like it was more of a thought or an idea that comething concrete. Surprise, surprise....
